Best (beginner), the size of the motorcycle engine height?
I am looking for my first bike and live in Colorado at 6000 feet. I've heard that the fight 750cc engines smaller slightly uphill, even on the roads of the city. Should I watch a 1100cc at this point or is this bike very difficult to manage start? I take the MSF class next week and want to buy a used bike soon after. I have fear of doing something too quick to want a more powerful engine, and I prefer not have to try to sell to improve despite a few thousand to spend on anything else now. Just wanted to add that I am more interested in a sports cruiser bikes, etc.
Riding a motorcycle is fun and if done incorrectly can hurt. Since dirt and racing bikes have been riding for 45 years my advice is to start small and work your way to a bigger bike. Most biking first deposit a couple of times in the parking lots, gravel, etc, I recommend a Honda 250cc if you are a woman who has tried it. After a few thousand miles to sell it and work your way up to 500-750 DC for a few thousand miles to its final size you like. In a big bike with the throttle error can be accelerated on a small bike is not so dangerous. Save your skin start small and sell the bike as they rise. If you keep the bike nice, you get your money when you sell it, perhaps even making money. The establishment an abandoned bicycle is expensive. Happy Trails
